Terms of Service

By accessing, registering, or using SukhiJodi ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you ("the Member", "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

You must be at least 18 years of age (if female) or 21 years of age (if male) to register on SukhiJodi, in accordance with the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

You must be unmarried, legally divorced, or widowed at the time of registration. Married individuals seeking matches are strictly prohibited.

You confirm that you are a member of the Brahmin community and that all information shared is true, complete, and current.

SukhiJodi currently serves Uttar Pradesh exclusively. Members from other regions may register but matching is currently limited to UP-based profiles.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. SukhiJodi will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorized account access.

You agree to provide accurate horoscope details, Gotra, family information, education, occupation, and photographs.

Use of someone else's photograph, a fictitious identity, or impersonation will result in permanent ban and may attract criminal liability under Section 419 IPC.

One Member is entitled to maintain only one active profile.

All profiles are reviewed by SukhiJodi's moderation team before going live.

We reserve the right to reject, suspend, or remove any profile that violates these Terms, contains misleading information, or harms community standards — without notice or refund.

Verification badges may be granted after additional KYC (Aadhaar / PAN / Government ID). KYC documents are encrypted and never shared with other Members.

The Platform is to be used only for the bona-fide purpose of matrimonial alliance.

You shall NOT: (a) post obscene, hateful, defamatory, casteist or politically inflammatory content; (b) solicit money, gifts, or favours from other Members; (c) use the Platform for dating, escort services, or commercial gain; (d) scrape, copy, or republish any content; (e) attempt to bypass security or access another's account.

Violations may result in immediate ban, forfeiture of subscription fees, and report to the Cyber Cell.

Your phone number and email are masked from other Members until both sides accept an Expression of Interest.

Communication on the Platform's chat is logged and may be reviewed in case of complaints, in accordance with the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021.

SukhiJodi will never call you to ask for OTP, password, or payment outside the Platform.

SukhiJodi is currently operating in Shubharambh mode, so no package selection is required to begin.

Feature access may still depend on profile completion, admin approval, mutual interest, privacy rules, and safety checks.

If paid services are introduced later, clear terms will be shown before any payment is requested.

All trademarks, logos, design elements, source code, and content on the Platform are the exclusive property of SukhiJodi Pvt. Ltd.

You retain ownership of photographs and personal text you upload, but grant SukhiJodi a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process them for matchmaking purposes.

SukhiJodi is a matchmaking facilitator — we do NOT guarantee marriage, engagement, response, or any specific outcome.

We are NOT responsible for the conduct, intentions, or background of any Member. Members are advised to perform their own due diligence before meeting.

Where no fee has been paid, any liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including emotional distress, lost opportunity, or third-party actions.

You may delete your profile at any time from Account Settings. Data shall be retained for 90 days for compliance and then permanently deleted, except where required by law.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of Terms, fraudulent activity, or court / law-enforcement order.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SukhiJodi, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your interactions with other Members.

In accordance with IT Rules 2021, our Grievance Officer is reachable at grievance@sukhijodi.in. Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through mediation under the Mediation Act, 2023.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance.
